ASME Receives Awards for Two Publications

Jacob Kingston is an experienced engineer who currently serves as the chief executive officer of Washakie Renewable Energy, a company based in Plymouth, Utah. Jacob Kingston is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

Founded in 1880, ASME is a nonprofit organization committed to unifying all engineering fields to encourage collaboration, skills development, and career enhancement. ASME serves a diverse membership of more than 130,000 from all around the globe, offering a wide range of quality programs, such as continuing education and government relations.

Attesting to the organization’s commitment to high-quality products and services, ASME recently received awards for two of its publications. Association Media and Publishing presented a Bronze EXCEL Award to “Mechanical Engineering 2017 Integrated Media Planner” in the promotional content/digital media kit category.

The association gave another Bronze EXCEL Award to “DEMAND – ASME Global Development Review” in the design excellence category. EXCEL Awards recognize excellence in the media, publishing, marketing, and communications activities of nonprofit organizations.
